Fairtrade Churches
You can apply for a Fairtrade Poster Certificate for your church from the Fairtrade Foundation if the appropriate Council or Church meeting has agreed to
- use Fairtrade tea and coffee for all meetings for which you have responsibility and after services;
- move forward on using other Fairtrade products (such as sugar, biscuits and fruit); and
- promote fair trade during Fairtrade Fortnight and during the year through events, worship and other activities whenever possible.

Fairtrade Synagogues
Fairtrade Synagogues was launched during Fairtrade Fortnight 2007 with the first Synagogue receiving a certificate in Birmingham on 9 March.
The goals of a Fairtrade Synagogue are
- to use Fairtrade tea and coffee for all meetings for which you have responsibility;
- to move forward on using other Fairtrade products (such as sugar, fruit and juice); and
- to promote fair trade during Fairtrade Fortnight, and through other events where possible.
